The attention of the Forum of SDP Chairmen has been drawn to a purported press conference allegedly convened by certain unknown individuals falsely claiming to be State Chairmen of our great party.
For the avoidance of doubt, Forum of SDP Chairmen hereby states unequivocally that none of these individuals are recognized State Chairmen of the Party, nor were they verified by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the last official INEC verification exercise.

It is evidently clear that the individual addressing the media is not an elected State Chairman, not a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC), and therefore has no authority whatsoever to speak on behalf of the SDP state Chairmen of the Party.
For the record, SDP is in possession of INEC certified true copies of all verified and recognized State Chairman, complete with their identifications. Social Democratic Party (SDP) has its legitimate, duly elected, and lawfully recognized State Chairmen across the federation.
It is deeply regrettable that certain detractors have descended to desperate and dishonorable antics, hiring impostors and street elements to falsely parade themselves as state chairmen of our great Party.
Social Democratic Party (SDP) remains a well-structured, disciplined, and duly organized political party, led by authentic, democratically elected, and INEC-recognized State Chairmen not by political impersonators or job-seekers masquerading as party officials.
In light of the foregoing, Forum of SDP Chairmen categorically declares that the so-called “press conference” allegedly held by these impostors did not originate from the legitimate State Chairmen of the Party and therefore carries no legitimacy, authority, or recognition whatsoever.
Forum of SDP Chairmen hereby completely disclaims all statements, claims, and representations made by these individuals. Their actions are unauthorized, unlawful, illegal, null, and void, and must be treated as such by all concerned.
We therefore call on Nigerians, the media, and the general public to totally disregard the said press conference and any statements emanating from these impersonators. They do not represent the State Chairmen, or the leadership of Forum of SDP Chairmen.
