It was a great history and celebrations on Friday, 15th May 2026, as Archbishop David O.C. Onuoha of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province visited His Royal Highness Eze Ambassador ThankGod Adighiogu at his palace in Nnebi-Na-Asonye of Obowo local government area.
His Grace, Archbishop Onuoha of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province and the Bishop of Okigwe South Diocese thanked His Royal Highness Eze Ambassador ThankGod Adighiogu for warmth and Hospital reception given to him and his team.

Nnebi-Na-Asonye of Obowo local government area and the neighbourhood more especially maintaining peace, security and community development programmes in community.
During the visit, the Archbishop Onuoha, who was accompanied by his wife, the Diocesan Chancellor, Archdeacons, Dr. Sir Godrick Anosike, Hon. Sir Jasper Chukwuemeka, and other legal officers of the diocese to the palace of His Royal Highness Eze Ambassador ThankGod Adighiogu in Nnebi-Na-Asonye autonomous community of Obowo local government area, Imo State.
The Archbishop, who also serves as President of the Christian Council of Nigeria, (CAN) said he was at the palace to inform the traditional ruler that he was in his domain for the 3rd Session of the 11th Synod of Okigwe South Diocese, holding at St. Peter’s Church, Umuariam, from 14th to 17th May 2026 and specially thanked His Royal Highness’s contributions to development of the church and society.
In welcoming and responding to the Archbishop and his entourage, HRH Eze Ambassador ThankGod Adighiogu, who is currently the Public Relations Officer of the Obowo Council of Traditional Rulers, thanked the Archbishop and his team for visiting to inform him about the 11th Synod of Okigwe South Diocese. His Royal Highness Eze Ambassador ThankGod Adighiogu assures the Archbishop David O.C Onuoha of his continued support to the Church, particularly Okigwe South Diocese.
